Old School Love::
Someone asked us what we meant when we said Old School Love. Despite the video/ song being completely improv & silly, we had a sincere meaning behind it. The 50’s Doo-Wop style and harmonic backgrounds take you back to a time where Smokey Robinson or the Supreems blazed the charts. A time that our grandparents glorify and parents highly respect. A time where there was a particular beauty and substance in music that we search hard to find today. At the “Holly House” they’d turn down the lights, turn up the slow jams and dance.., some would just sit and feel the music. That’s what we grew up with. So that “Old School Love”, could be a special someone or it could be an Ode to music. An ode to the music our grandparents value so much. That nostalgia of “Cruisin’”, “Is That Love” or “Every Little Bit Hurts”. We know, we know.,., we’re young, what do we know about that music?!…. We know that we have an appreciation and love for it. We know that if it wasn’t created, we would not have a follow up transition for the top 20 on the radio now😉 We know that music evolves as people do, which is why our styles change with our moods and phases in life. So the next time you watch “Old School Love” you can let that special someone come to mind, or simply think about, Music.
